A FOCUS ON LOCALLY-FUNDED NMSS RESEARCHERS

On August 25, the chapter convened its first Carolinas MS Researchers forum at Duke University with 31 people attending. This forum brought together locally-funded National MS Society researchers and members of their labs. It was an opportunity to share their research with others who have an interest in MS, encourage the interest of young scientists, and look for ways to collaborate. Bruce Bebo, Ph.D. from the Research Department at the home office also attended to share NMSS funding priorities.
